I'm pretty sure zimmerman was in the top 5 in strikeouts in the state last year. I don't think burcham, thackston, seagraves, or sparks beat that. Of course he has to do that because of the horrible defense chesapeake has.

jl724, can you name those 3 or 4 pitchers from fairland better than zimmerman? Hopefully you aren't thinking of burcham or thackston because they aren't better pitchers than him.

cgbaseball, sparks is a good pitcher, but i would say zimmerman from chesapeake is the best in the conference this year. He isn't backed by very good defense or hitting, but he's someone i wouldn't want to face

I'd say that you all are over exaggerating quite a bit..try about 4 or 5 charges..not 11. Blame the sp players for driving in the lane and running over defenders. The refs didn't do that.
