Re: Open Jobs
I say they can "afford" whoever they want. I have heard of a couple names other than Blaine , both will keep the Dragons in good shape I would agree with you. I don't know the one from WV but the other one has the drive and desire to be great. I believe he would continue on with the tradi...

Re: Open Jobs
I was told they reached out to two. One they can’t afford but would do a great job. Local coach currently. The other is a coach from WV that would do well. Big shoes to fill whoever gets that job. Can't afford? Unless they don't have a job for them I don't see why they couldn't find a way to get th...

Looks like they have ventured away from the probable successor. Have they reached out to anyone? Would be a great job to have I would think.RheaRipley wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 3:58 pmI heard the same thing.peake71 wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 12:11 pm Fairland job is posted on OHSAA. Re: Open Jobs
How did he do at South Gallia I am generally asking because I don't know. 5 seasons. Won a couple of sectionals, reached a district final. Best season was 18-6. A couple of bad seasons as well, can’t leave those out, but just looking back it seems like he did fairly well. He did fairly well at Sout...

What does their schedule look like? The coach usually sets it up or has it set up the way they want it.Geronimo wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2024 11:25 am Who in there right mind, set RV basketball schedule up this season ???

Re: D7 R27 : South Gallia (7-3) vs. Eastern (11-0)
If Easterns offense shows up I think it will be all Eastern. They really struggled against South Gallia a couple weeks ago to get anything going offensively. I think we will see Eastern turn Manley loose and let him run the ball a lot more this game and hopefully it will open some other things up f...

Great hard fought game by 2 very competitive teams. Congrats to Eastern. Good luck to both as they finish the season and move on to the playoffs.

Old Shorts, maybe I still have them I just can’t remember because I am old and forget. Oh by the way did South Gallia get some players from Symmes Valley? They haven’t had any new transfers come in so far. They had an intrasquad scrimmage a week ago and didn’t have anyone new. I don’t figure they w...

Re: Oak Hill Declines TVC Offer: Remains in SOC
If OH football can’t compete in the SOC2 and the SOC won’t put them back into SOC1 (where they were a bad fit too), I really only see one option, since the TVC bridge is now burnt. Go the route of South Webster and become a non-football school. Focus on building up your other sports and start a pus...

Good luck to all 3 SE Ohio teams in the Final 4. All have impressive teams and have made great runs so far. Keep it going on Thursday/Friday.

Re: *Breaking* Oak Hill Officially Petitions TVC for Membership
I was talking all sports my fault for not stating that Since 2019 Oak Hill has won 9 games including 2 against TVC Ohio teams. River Valley has won 10 games since 2019 and has 3 TVC Ohio wins. Since OH moved to the SOC big division in 2019 I would agree with you. Which is why they want out and the ...

Notre Dame has run into a buzz saw tonight. Bj Hiland 40 ND 14 Halftime. It ended in a running clock. ND doesn't see enough hard competition they need to get out of the SOC 1. SOC has 3 Divisions. Notre Dame SHOULD be in the Middle Division as a competitive standpoint in all sports. South Gallia sh...
