To answer your questions, there were 21-22 kids to chose from. 12 of the kids could not play b/c they were busy and said they had previous plans, leaving about 10 kids for the team. The kids were asked to vote on 8 or 9 choices for All-Stars. They were told when voting of the people who had prior engagements and did not want to play on the All-Star Team. So all the kids voted.
