Re: Who will be the next Waverly head coach?
Caldwellbasketball you said that he inherited a mess? From looking at it from my point of view it looks like he inherited a pretty good team winning the district in his first season? Inherited a loaded senior class with nothing behind it. He easily could have easily parleyed the year 1 success to a...

Re: Who will be the next Waverly head coach?
If it is Teryn he is a very good coach. He had talent for exactly 1 of his 4 years at Meadowbrook and he went to the elite 8. The coaches prior to him neglected the program for years and left zero developed players in the program beyond his initial senior class, John Wooden himself couldn't have won...

Re: Monroe Central 24-25
Thanks Caldwellbasketball for the thorough explanation. I wasn’t aware of of life after the transfer portal. Bede was a great player and it’s good to see him getting a chance to play at the next level. I’ve heard that Tucker would rather play football. Hopefully he, and Chance, get to do whatever t...

Re: Monroe Central 24-25
First, I think both have a shot at playing at the next level -- most likely scholarship D-II players. I don't see their names on college scholarship prospects lists, but possibly this year's tournament success gave them a chance to get noticed when they weren't on the radar screen. In addition, it ...

Looks like a great selection of teams Coach!!! - pfloyd It's always a long, hot but fun day to wrap up the summer hoops schedule! It's also the last year that it will be a hot one, they're putting A/C in the high school gym in July lol. The pool that gets sent to the junior high gym will be spoiled...

Re: Monroe Central 24-25
Does anyone know what Gator Nichols (star player for Maysville) connection to Monroe Central is? He wore a Monroe Central t-shirt during our game and participated in the shooting contest (I think) during one of the breaks in his MC shirt. I am 80% sure it was him but didn't hear any confirmation on...

Re: South Webster vs Cornerstone Christan at ODU 3/14/25
The coach is Turtles father Babe. He and his dad have multiple state championships to their name from their time at Benedictine, he is a very good coach. If you've never seen Turtle play it is a unique experience, he probably gets his shot off faster than just about anyone you've ever seen and he sh...

Game is being streamed on total media sports on YouTube! Unbearable It’s been that way all year with total media. I was just happy for a place to watch the game, I did turn the volume down mid-first quarter. I couldn't handle the antics, mostly the pirate voice lol they do have enthusiasm for their...
