Valley was definitely killing us on the glass but that was the only positive thing they had going for them in this game.

Congratulations to the Eagles! Great 2nd half for the Eagles way to come out and put the game away in the 3rd. I knew about 3 minutes into this game the Eagles was the better team but hats off to Valley they played a hard game and will be a force in the next couple of years.

The Eagles have to come ready to play in this one. If they come out flat like they did against Reedsville it will not go in there favor. If they step it up on defense and out rebound Valley I’ll take the Eagles by 8.

Big win for the Eagles but turnovers and rebounds almost cost them a win tonight. Way too many second chances for Western. Hopefully we can get those issues fixed and maybe do a few box out drills in practice this week. Bench played well for Eastern especially Cade. Hope to see Cade get more minutes...

I think Western will keep it close for most of the game but the Eagles pull away in the 4th. I’ll take the Eagles 58-45. These two teams will be getting after it tonight on defense but I think the lack of depth on Westerns bench will really show in this game.

Didn’t stick around for this game but I was very surprised on how Western held Henry scoreless. Especially since they don’t have a guy over 6’0. That says a lot about how hard they play on defensive end.

Got to catch this game after the Eastern game and walked away very impressed with freshman Alexander. This team will go as he goes. He’s going to have to do most of the scoring or create the scoring for his teammates.

Eastern will need to clean it up if they wanna have a chance Saturday night. Very sloppy play so far (which is to be expected) but I see this team being very competitive after they get back into basketball mode.
