Re: Portsmouth West Senator Basketball
Cameron Crazie, I hope your loyalty spreads on the west side, it really needs it. I find it so sad that people can say that they would not blame the coach for leaving. Things must be that bad, huh? Do any of the other sports have this kind of trouble with parents and keeping coaches or is it only ba...

Re: Chillicothe vs. Northwest 2/28
Every year I feel bad for the kids at Northwest because they have to play in Division 2e during the tournament. I understand that Northwest's student enrollment places them in that district, but it has to be discouraging for the kids knowing they will play a powerhouse every year in the sectional. N...

Re: Minford High School coach resigns
From what I saw, from the outside looking in, I thought Coach copley did a good job at Minford. His teams always played hard and never caused any problems. Hopefully he has started something at Minford that will continue on with the next coach. I don't know anything about he Perdas kid, but if he is...

Re: Green Basketball
Is there a protest happening at Green right now??? Did the staff and students walk out @ noon???
A walk out..... hummmmm.. , doubt it will have much of an impact, however, best of luck to the green community in making everyone happy.

Re: Green Basketball
Some say Lewis will come back but thats only because he has a son and then they will need ANOTHER coach after his son is gone Is the past coach Kevin Lewis the same Kevin Lewis that was mentioned in the Portsmouth Times as a member of the school board?? I have a hard time seeing Scarbury leaving No...

Re: coaching changes?
Things should change next year with new blood on the board. At least that is the hope.
Has there been any official announcement from the school stating that Hopper will not be back, or that there is a position vacancy?

Re: coaching changes?
Rumor has it that Green will be looking for a principal and basketball coach. I don't know about the principals' job but they need a coach. Hopper does a good job with one but not the other. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the Green job open last year? Why take applications for a job, give it back to t...

Also saw valley play friday, there is some talent there to build around, seemed out of control for most of the game, but they do have potential, solid J.V. team. However, I do have one question.... is there somthing going on behind the scences that is keeping the Call kid on the bench?? He seems to ...

Even though I am not a burg guy, I have to agree with winchell. Burg's losses were early in the year, (long football season will do that to you). Also, Ithey are playing some tremendous basketball, mainly their defense, (a typical barrick team). Saw South Point play Northwest. After that game, even ...

How old is Shoemaker at Portsmouth? He is a rather young coach and is doing a very good job. Also, you jeep fans correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Kriescher in his mid 20's when he took the head position at sw? I can't think of any other young coaches in our area that are active at the varsity le...

Cameron34Crazie34 why is everyone talking about how Dunham shouldnt be coaching at West, he isn't the real head coach, he is just coaching because he was next in line. He knows his fair share about baskeball, so why not let him coach the team since he is allready there. In response to your response,...

I am perfectly aware of those facts falcon flyer, and I suppose I should have used a closer to home example, however, don't you think that even in such a controlled environment coahing players with only a year of age difference would be a difficult task? Now, take away the controlled environment, do...
