Which race was alot harder to advance to regionals in? im gonna have to go with race B.

Maybe so, but there was a seeding meeting, which few coaches attended, so there should be no complaining about that. If you feel you were in the harder race take it up with your coach because it's his actions, or lack of, which got you placed in that race.
