Running Behind

I have been running behind on CC results due to my better half going through her 3rd surgery in the last three month. Eye surgery at Fairfield in Lancaster, head surgery at Riverside in Columbus and this past week she had to have her mechanical value replaced at OSU Ross. Eye surgery came out fine. Head surgery also came out okay (hit her head and caused bleeding..she has been on blood thinner) Last surgery is from having to be off blood thinner and caused a blood clot at the value. Everything is looking good and should be home this coming Thursday.

Saw her late this afternoon and early evening. They have moved her to another room and just about have everything unhooked. Getting out of bed and walking around. Talking a lot more.

We very much appreciate all you do with all of the scores/times/distances in XC and track but I think I can speak for everyone by saying....take care of your wife and don't worry at all about these results being updated. If you return at some point and get back at it because you want to and your wife is ok....great, but no one expects all you do.

Walked around the 5th floor with the better half today. Might be unhooked from everything sometime Tuesday. Doesn't hurt as much when coughing. With them coming in so often she hasn't been getting but about two hours sleep at a time.

Just back from Columbus. Looks like Thursday will be the day she will be released. Still has some fluid on the lungs.

hey brother I just saw this and I will be praying for your wife. I'm sorry to hear this. and will indeed remember her in prayer.you all have been through quite the ordeal, praise god things are getting better. must have been a truly scary ordeal.

Took the better half out to Krogers to day to pick up food that she needs to be eating right now. She did real good but it wore her out a little. Nurse came in today to check her out and said she is doing great.

Want to thank all of you for your post.

Took her out to Bob Evans yesterday and walked some at Walmart then visited one of her friends. Home nurse came in again and said everything is going great.
