That is hard to say. Most 40 times are done in football. Indoor track will run 55 and 60 meters.

The 40 is not something that is measured in track meets, really, not many people record it even in practice.

Needs to be laser time....not Dad with the trusty stopwatch and quick thumb.

Most 4.5 guys are actually 4.7 guys

We have it marked off on our track so football can come out and run them. We do 40's sometimes for our short sprint speed days as part of the workout

Besides....you don't use your thumb to stop a stopwatch
