Federal-Hocking's Super Sophomore , Chanda Cuckler won the regional high jump at Lancaster last Friday night. She did not miss until 5 ft. 4. I think she has a good chance to win the state DIII high jump or at least score in her first trip to the state meet. Good luck C. C. !!!!!!!!

Anna Pomento-Athens High-Discus
Anna has gone from 109' in the TVC meet to 121' in the Regionals. Can she keep improving? I'm betting she can!

Anna Pomento of Athens didn't throw better than her regional throw, but 119' 11" was good enough for 2nd place. Congrats to her!!!
And one venue to the east, Mason Metts of Meigs threw 55' 10" for 5th place in the boys shot put. Way to go!!!!!
Good luck to the rest of the competitors from around the Southeast District.

Congratulations to Federal Hocking's Chanda Cuckler on her 4th place finish today in the DIII girl's high jump. CC was the highest finishing underclassman. You've got two more years to win it, keep working hard!

Congrats to Samantha Massie of Oak Hill for placing seventh in the Division III girls long jump. She stood ninth going into her last jump, then leaped a 17-5 1/4 to put her on the podium.
She will be back for her senior season next year.
