SEOTCA's annual all-district track banquet will be held on Monday, June 6 at the Jackson Ponderosa. We will begin at 6:30.

People associated with the banquet will be able to purchase a buffet dinner, drink, and gratuity for $11.00.

Any Southeast District athlete who won an event at the district meet or is a state qualifier is invited to attend and will be recognized at the banquet.

Athletes and Coaches of the Year will be determined after our meeting on May 30. These names will be announced after that meeting.

I just received a call from Ponderosa last night. The cost of the meal, which includes the buffet, drink and gratuity, will be $12.50...NOT $11.00 as earlier stated. Sorry about the late notice.

I would recommend getting their early to ensure getting a decent seat. This is usually a crowded event.

Also this banquet is to recognize the all-district track athletes, athletes of the year, and coaches of the year.

Any athlete who won his or her event at the district meet or was a state qualifier is automatically all-district and will be recognized this evening. All-district status does not depend upon the athlete's coach's standing within the organization.

Athletes of the Year and Coaches of the Year were determined by the coaches who were in attendance at the district coaches meeting.
