100 meters
SVC and TVC at the top here followed by the SHAC and SEOAL
100 hurdles
TVC with a runaway here followed by SEOAL and the SVC
200 meters
SCOL with a big edge over the TVC and SVC
300 hurdles
Once again the TVC in a runaway followed by OVC and SEOAL
400 meters
Seoal is the leader here with SCOL a strong second
800 meters
TVC very strong here followed by the SEOAL
1600 meters
TVC runs away with this SCOL and SVC are next
3200 meters
Giving the TVC the top here over the SVC but not by much.TVC with 4 of the top 6 and the SVC 2 of the top three
Discus
This goes to the SVC very easy followed by SOC,OVC TVC and SEOAL
High Jump
SHAC wins this with 4 to 5 teams with girls in the top 8
Long Jump
SEOAL is the leader here followed by the SCOL and TVC
Shot put
OVC looks to have the top thrower with almost every league having a member that could push for the top three spots
Pole Vault
SEOAL takes this with 3 of the top 8 vaulters
4x100
Chillicothe may have the top team but over all the SEOAL is tops
4x200
This would go to the SCOL followed by the TVC
4x400
SCOL,TVC, SVC and the SEOAL
4x800
TVC very easy the #1 here with the SVC and SEOAL a close 2nd
My order of leagues
1. The TVC runs away with the best league. They could very well have the top three teams in Southeastern, Ohio...Eastern R, Waterford and Athens. The TVC will have a good showing in every event.
2. The SEOAL would be second with three of the top eight teams..Gallipolis, Logan and Warren. I think overall the SEOAL will struggle in the distance races.
3.. SVC is next with being strong in sprints, middle distance and field events. They also look like they will be down in the distance races.
4. The SCOL comes in at #4 Strong running events but looks weak in the field events
5. OVC will have a good showing in the 300 hurdles and Shot Put and average in the rest of the events
6. SHAC a couple events they will be good but look to be weak in the other events
7. SOC looks to be down this season. They will compete but I do not see them be strong in any event.
With some not going out this year and some new going out and some strong 8th graders coming in could change ll of this
