Early Look at SVC-Boys-2016

Zane Trace
Not many bad spots with this team. They do have a few weak events 110, 1600, Discus. Should do well in 100m, 4x200, 800, Pole Vault and 4x400. Should score in every event.
Westfall
Westfall will be scoring in almost every event but most will come from 5th place on down. Will be a bottom half finish
The 400, 300, 800 will be where Westfall will find it hard to score. 4x400 looks to be their best relay team and Long jump the best field event.
Unioto
This will be another team last will score in most events. The 1600, 800,3200 will bring them their biggest point events
What might keep Unioto from wining the league is the 100h, high jump and Discus. Outside of the 4x800 Unioto will finish in the middle of the pack in the other relays.Only two field event will bring solid points.
Southeastern
Will have a few outstanding events but the 100m, 1600, 800, 200, Pole vault and 3200 will keep them in the lower half in scoring. 110, Long Jump will be big point winners.
Piketon
This team will also score in most events but the Shot Put, High Jump will be the events where the big points come from. 100h, 400, Long jump and the 200 will be difficult point for Piketon. Still see a bottom 4 finish.
Paint Valley
Paint Valley will score a lot of points but the High Jump, Long jump and pole vault may keep them from taking the big meets. 4x100 looks to be the best relay team. 100h, 4x100, 200 and the discus should get two finishes in the top eight. Look for a top 4 finish.
Huntington
Looks like Huntington will be down a lot this year. I see about 10 events where they will have trouble getting points. Even the ones they score in won't be much.
Adena
Four teams in the SVC will score over a 100 points and Adena will be one of them. Will the 1600, 300 and the 3200 keep them from the top. The 400 should be a big point getter. Relay teams look to be above average with the 4x200 and 4x400 being the best. In the field event they should do well in the High Jump, Long Jump, Pole vault and will pick up points in the other two. 100h, 200 will bring much needed points.
The finish
Three teams might have to do their best come time to run the 4x400. Three teams could be within 4 to 8 point of each other come the last event. I'm going to say Paint Vally will be enough ahead to pull the win out. Paint Valley will not be strong in the 4x400 so they will need to finish no less than 6th place.
