Whiteoak
Look for Whiteoak to struggle a bit in 2016. Could score in better than half the events. For the relays it looks like the 4x800 will be the only relay that could pick up points at the league meet.Long jump and high jump should bring points. The 100h will be the only hurdle team to score. In the sprints the 100 and 200 should get points. 1600 and 3200 will pick up lower half points.
West Union
WU should finish in the top five at the league meet. All relays should score points but the 4x400 will be the only one that could score upper level points. The field events could be a no show. 800 and 1600 will be a little above average. 300 hurdles have a chance to get top level points. Sprints will be at the middle of the pack.
Ripley
Ripley could score in 7 or 8 events but the points will be lower level points. Relays do not look too good. Field events look about the same as the relays. Hurdles will get lower points as the sprints also.
Peebles
Should score in almost all events. Relays will not be strong. Field events will bring points. Hurdles will score lower points and the sprints look to do the same.
North Adams
Should score in all relays. Looks like the high jump and the shot put will be the only field events to bring points. Will pick up points in the 800,1600,3200. Hurdles are not too good. Sprints will score few points.
Manchester
This team has some talent but not in every event. Other than the 4x800 the relays look average. Three of the field events will put up points. 800,1600 and 3200 will be the Hounds big events. Needs help in the relays. 200 looks the best of the sprints.
Lynchburg
Another team with talent. Will do well in the relays. Field events are a little weak. Will hurt in the 800,1600 and 3200 big time. Hurdles will pick up points. The sprints will be this teams strongest events.
Fayetteville
This team will start out the season very slow. Some events show signs of life and could start to peak at the league but will not keep them from finishing in the bottom half.
Fairfield
Relays will be below average. Field events will be split with Discus and high jump being weak and Shot put and Long jump being strong. 800 and 1600 will get few points but 3200 will be tops. Hurdles won't bring too many points. Sprints will not do too well.
Eastern
Eastern looks weak at the 100M, 1300, High jump. Relays could be tops in the league. Three of the field events look strong.
800, 1600 and 3200 will have its ups and down. Hurdles will be real strong and bring big points. Sprints look to be average.
The Finish
Won't know until about the fifth event on what teams will be getting out in front. Through the first five events it looks like Peebles, Lynchburg, Manchester and Eastern will be the teams. After 10 events it will be plain to see that Eastern will be the team to beat. Lynchburg will be putting some distance between them and Manchester and Peebles. With three events to go Fairfield could probably just sit back and watch. Manchester has come back with strong showings in the 200 and High Jump to jump ahead of Lynchburg and Peebles is out of it. In the end Fairfield wins by 30 plus and Manchester out scores Lynchburg for 2nd place. Peebles and West Union should finish in the top five.
