High school outdoor season starts in 46 days

After the first weekend up the 2016 season with mostly relay we had at the Chillicothe Fairweather relays #2 Zane Trace had wins over #9 Washington and #25 Fairland. #25 Fairland finished ahead of #9 Washington.

A new top 25 will be posted after the April 1st meets.

#5 Unioto boys came out on top at Vinton Cty with wins over #4 Athens. Athens boys didn't seem to be short handed like their girls.

this week had #21 Whiteoak fall to #25 Ripley

This past week we had #7 Paint Valley over #2 Zane Trace and #3 Hillsboro and #8 Adena

#19 Waverly over # 11 Jackson

Boys order could change at any time I think in the top 5

McClain won the RL over Zane Trace and hillsboro

At RL Dacisson #15 McClain had wins over #2 ZT, #3 Hillsboro, #7 Paint Valley, #8 Adena,#20 Eastern Sar.

Coach Watkins, Fraun, and Andrews have really got the Buckeyes moving in the right direction.
Nelsonville-York track keeps getting better year in and year out.

When Fraun became coach at Logan they had some bad years against Athens. In the area of his 2nd year at Logan He lost to Athens by just a few and told his players It would be different from now on. Right off I don't know if he has lost to Athens after that. When he started at Nelson/York I sent him a message saying he would bring NY program up with the other schools in SEO and give Logan a run for their money. With having two different classes at The Rocky Brands it didn't shoe how they would do. I suppose you could put the meet into one and see.

Anyway the coaches there now are doing a great job.

It was at the "League Meet" 1985 when we lost to Athens, by only 2 pts I think...... It was a looooooooong ride home to Logan. And we never lost to Athens after that. In fact, that was the start of the "Decade of Dominance". I don't think we lost to a league team or anyone in seo within that 10 year span.

Lost the league to Athens in 97

Logan girls lost to Athens in the 1995 SEOAL but the boys last lost to Athens in a league meet in 1984. Starting in 1985 Logan has lost only 5 league meets...1995,1996,2006,2008,2015 four of those to Marietta and one to Warren

For are correct. 84 was the last SEOAL meet athens ever won.
