burg ball on own 48

1st and 10, schank for a huge gain down to the minford 27, looks like that "onemanteam" is doing pretty well.

1st and 10, graf for 6

2nd and 4, hood for the 1st down to the 16

1st and 10, ball on 16, schank to the 9

2nd and 3, shears for no gain

3rd and 3, luster inside the 5, should 1st down but roger says it 4th???

graf in for the score

xp is good

Burg 38
Minford 0

Would anyone like to try to debate what I said on another thread about Burg being able to beat or hang with any team in the region?

Personally, I never doubted them. People put WAAAAAYY too much stock in records of weak opponents to determine how good they think some teams are. Wheelersburg is a chronic slow-starter of late, but they seem to always get better and better every week. This season is turning out to be no exception.

We'll never know unless they meet in the playoffs and both are at full strength.

Congrats to Wheelersburg on the win. Complete domination. Good luck the rest of the season. Gut check time for Minford.

There's a very good chance of it. They aren't going to get much help this week outside of this game, but it will still go a long long way towards putting them in the top 8. It definitely solidifies them as a bona fide playoff contender.
