div 4 region 15

Post by john_rambo »

As a st. clairsville fan we are expecting great things from our team this year. Having played some teams from the southeast in recent years some were wondering who down that way will have some of the better teams this year? Who is predicted for the playoffs. Any great indv. players to watch out for?

There will be some good scioto county teams in the soc 2 with portsmouth west and wheelersburg and lucasville valley but they are d5 region 19 teams minford is d4 region 15. There are several very talented kids in this county there are a few kids in the soc that have d-1 college talent. I look for portsmouth west and burg to make the playoffs I think west has a shot at maybe winning the region. Ironton will be a strong team out of lawrence county they are d4 region 15 but they play a extremely tough schedule and they only have 9 games but with their schedule they could make the playoffs at 5-4 or 6-3 but I think they will probably be more like 7-2 or 8-1 maybe even run the table.

Ironton should not have any trouble with their schedule this year. Ironton is the closest thing to "loaded" that any division school could get.

Have you looked at our schedule?

Bishop Hartley returns just about everyone with a few D1 commitments already
Ashland will be just as good as last year.
Bishop Watterson D3 State Champions year before last
Johnson Central is always tough even in a down year lol

This is a Very tough 4 games not to mention the Burg right off the bat in their new stadium, Russell, Portsmouth, Gallia Academy and Oak Hill.

Ironton is loaded ohbuckeye! You guys said yourselves how good they would be when Brown and White got in there. 21 SENIORS, Lewis is a beast and not the only one. I saw your schedule on the other thread. What happened to Jackson, why don't you play them anymore? Ashland will not be near as good as last year. Maybe Watterson and Hartley might pose a challenge but they be lucky to have the horses you got bud.

WOW!!! Really any division. If thats the case you think they wouldve looked better against West. West did what wanted to and just moved the ball at will. Maybe loaded means something different in your dream land dreamweaver...

Haha..I stand by what I said. Just because a team is D1 or D2 doesn't mean kids come out for football, or that they have a successful program in place.

Johnstown should be good again, I expect another 10-0 or 9-1 if they can't get by a very tough Granville team tonight!
