Yeah, they "stole" Osborne in 2011 after he and Prater helped Wellston beat Jackson for the first time since 1989 the prior year. Now, go worry about Athens.

Jackson won 28-26 in 2002 and 27-21 in 2003. Other than that, no game has been very close over the last 15 years, including Wellston's 33-13 victory in 2010 to end the streak.

The overall series stands at 75-27-6 in favor of Jackson. The first three meetings were between Jackson High School and a city of Wellston team, rather than Wellston High School.

I didn't bother with posting about playoff points on this one, since we all know what the outcome will be. But I would like to say Jackson dropped NY as a scrimmage game and we'd hoped it was to get us on the regular schedule. So hopefully they won't duck us on that too.

I am bad at predictions and also superstitious so don't want to jinx anything, but I will say Jackson has a lot of very good hard-nosed football players that will contribute this Saturday on both sides of the ball.

Defense sets the tone I imagine and the offense gets untracked and surprises a lot of people.
