Nelsonville 2013

Post by Pitstop Billy »

I think it is time to consider some things as part of spring football talk:

1. Can this next team reach the heights attained when they were lead by the PE teacher? Those were great days. I sure miss them.

2. Will the coach resign only to be begged into staying.......again?

3. Can we at least beat Trimble this fall?

If the rumors I have heard(with one being confirmed)I think the Bucks might be the favor to beat the Green Wave this coming season.

There were two that left one for academics, he was ineligible after the week 7 L.V. game. The team played better after he was declared ineligible. The other left because of financial reasons. They will be fine.

6-4 sounds about right for the next couple years. There are many open positions where coaches have to decide if they are going young or with inexperienced upper classmen. That decision could decide how good NY will be or how much they will struggle. We will not know these answers until September or October. No matter what though, the kids will play hard though.

According to another site Nelsonville won't see another player, who went two ways for Newark Catholic. Rumors there say he transferred to Mt Vernon.
If true this game on paper just got a little closer.

Can't wait for the season to start to see how many of the N.C. rumors are true.

Good luck Nelsonville in 2013.

Was told today that Newark Catholic loss one , if not their best defensive player and he will be playing football for Granville this coming season.

Huge loss, if true and my source on this one had NEVER been incorrect in what he has told me over the years.
