I enjoyed the ironton Nelsonville York series------the fans there are great.

I liked the series as well. Hopefully they will schedule another 2 year series sometime in the future. I'd also like to see a 2 year series between NY and Portsmouth.

NY has a long history of scrimmage games vs. New Lexington, but has never played the Panthers in a regular season game. I would like to see a 2 year series between NY and NL. Might be hard with NL having 8 MVL conference games, plus playing an ECOL team every year as part of a scheduling agreement.

NY vs. Crooksville was always a classic game. NY has played Crooksville more times than any other school that was never in the same conference as the Buckeyes - 13 games.

NY vs. Morgan would make a good 2 year series. The teams have never played.

NY vs. lots of the Fairfield County schools would be interesting. Recent history with Berne Union, going back a decade there was a history with Fairfield Union. Amanda Clearcreek is only around 40 minutes away from Nelsonville. That would make a great home and home sometime. Fisher Catholic and Liberty Union are good choices.

I wouldn't mind seeing NY play these schools rotating every 2 years.

I think now that Vinton County has righted the ship and become relative again, they should resume the series with Jackson. Close game, big gate, geographical rivalry.
