I would agree on that statement about best defense. Front 7 come after you. Tyler Kelly & Devin Zehner will flat out hit you, great linebackers. Reminds me of Gawalek and Oyer from 98' team, speed, athletic and not afraid to put a hit on opponent. The 08' defense was pretty darn good ( playoff team ) and the 98' was best i can remember so this team is comparable to both. Scares me that our QB is a safety but he is one of the best athletes out there and he won't have to make too many tackles if the front 7 play like last night. Stadium looks great and was cool to see it full with fans and spirit! Great night to be a Cavalier. 1969 team ( I was 11 and still remember them ) is still my favorite besides the years i played ( 73-75 ) and they had a great defense in 69' had Upper Arlington beat and Bears were ranked #1 in the state at the time. Lost 21-12 i think. Go Cavs!
