Re: 2013 Alexander Spartans
The Spartans have a lot of growing to do, they are a athletic group with minimal size .... I'm not even going to predict wins and losses because its so hard to say how this team will mesh next season.

Re: 2013 Alexander Spartans
What kind of numbers are expected to turn out?
Have a lot of kids been active in the weightroom?
Will there be any new wrinkles in the Offense or Defense?

Re: 2013 Alexander Spartans
The boys have been spending some time in the weight room, but as with a lot of schools Alex has a lot of multi sport kids and with baseball , track going on it limits some of these kids this time of year . As far as the offensive look, I'm not sure what the changes will be but I suspect heavy dose as always of running game. Just not sure about a QB right now. They are a young team I'd say 3-4 seniors that will actually see field, they have a couple nice junior tailbacks and one senior that i feel could make a nice fullback, recievers prob from the sophmore class and the line and the rest will mostly be the sophomores with freshman filling in. Size upfront across the line worrys me ..but who knows ??? plus changing a few coaches here and there I hear so we shall wait and see ....

Them Spartans will be tough to deal with. Arno and his crazy schemes will make it tough to game plan against. That Jv group from last year was tough. Good luck Sparty.

Good bit of coaching changes at Alex, curious what the effect it will have.
Kids seem to be hitting the weights and getting in shape.

Yep both QB's we used last year are gone, not sure who it will be but most likely one of the juniors we used last year.

Transplant...They are starting to come together as a team , they are still positioning kids and that has been a challenge to find the best fit. Symmes valley is coming to town next Friday to scrimmage I'm excited to see them in pads.

Good to hear theyre coming together. Should be a good fun game week 6. We are still young and looking back to our JV game last year the talent level should be about the same. Have fun and stay healthy. Ill be following you guys. See ya week 6.
