At Boro could be tough but I think Hinton’s way can slow down Hillsboro’s way.

If this rain continues all week, Im taking Hillsboro. The field will pretty muddy especially around the 50. This will help Hillsboro's run game , and wear Chillicothe down . Not a great field when there's alot of rain.

Hillsboro by a few scores. They are home and ready to eat. I hope i'm wrong but Chilli's just not hungry anymore.

ill take chilli big in this one, they are gonna be pretty upset about last week and they are gonna find a way to put it behind them and play cavalier football.
Re: Chillicothe (4-1) @ Hillsboro (5-0)
Very important game as far as the league is concerned. Still a lot more big games in the league to be played. I think Chillicothe is the defending league champions, and may still be the favorite again.

Chillicothe fans, where would you rank this years team compared to the Chillicothe teams of the Maughmer era? Obviously you can't replace a kid like that but is Chillicothe still a playoff team and good enough to win out and defend their league title?

Re: Chillicothe (4-1) @ Hillsboro (5-0)
tough question. i would say no initially. We are lacking in the QB area. I am not sure we make the playoffs this year. i can see another loss or two.goblue1395 wrote: Tue Sep 25, 2018 1:32 pm Chillicothe fans, where would you rank this years team compared to the Chillicothe teams of the Maughmer era? I feel that Chilli has a very strong defense and great special teams unit but does not have the offensive identity through 5 weeks, Maughmer was an absolute beast and in some degree took alot of pressure off of Hinton's lack of offensive play calling skills. This team in my opinion will struggle to win against Hillsboro, Courthouse and Jackson but i feel that they have the ability to win the ugly way. Should be interesting in league play.

I agree, its there defense that's having to carry them so far. You know what they say, Defense Wins Championships. Nobody loses an all around great kid like Maughmer and not have it affect them. Because of there defense, if they can pick it up on offense as they go, I'll still say they are the team to beat in the end.Ohio1234 wrote: Tue Sep 25, 2018 3:06 pmChillicothe is a very interesting team this seasongoblue1395 wrote: Tue Sep 25, 2018 1:32 pm Chillicothe fans, where would you rank this years team compared to the Chillicothe teams of the Maughmer era?
