TVC OHIO, NO PLAYOFF TEAMS THIS YEAR !!!!!
Week 1 hasn't gone well at all. Meigs, River Valley, Vinton County and Athens all lost tonight. Wellston and N-Y are big underdogs tomorrow and should lose. It looks like the only team that will pull out a win this week is Alexander who plays a D7 team (Bradford) over in Miami county who was 0-10 last year and scored only 48 points all year.

NY at 7-3 gets in right?

Athens will most likely have to win out to get in I’m assuming? Their schedule is slightly better this year so I’m not sure. NY I think can sneak in at 7-3 depending on what others do. Almost made it at 5-5 last year if we would have beat Athens. If we do beat Athens at 8-2 we are definitely in.

Still have to play a pretty good Berne Union team as well.NY BUCK wrote: Sat Aug 31, 2019 8:23 am Athens will most likely have to win out to get in I’m assuming? Way to early to make that statement.
The Bucks have a path and a couple of others could surprise.

VC lost to, what could be, the best team they will face all season by 1 point. Don’t count the Vikings out after week 1. VC was 10th in region 15 last year with a 4-6 record so I would imagine a 6-4 season could get them in if the region is similar to last year.

The two best teams in the TVC Ohio are Athens and NY. They are both in brutal regions. If NY was in D5 they would easily make the playoffs. D5 is god awful. You just needs 13 points to get in
Athens and NY will need 20 points to have a shot.

Reg. 19, D5 God awful ? - Last years runner-up Johnstown, Amanda, Ironton, Wheelersburg , Ridgewood and Columbus Academy are all good again and well coached and Ready just beat last year's reg. 18 champ Genoa who went 12-1. So you think N-Y would have a better chance in the playoffs if they were still D5, I don't think so.Raider6309 wrote: Sun Sep 01, 2019 9:30 am The two best teams in the TVC Ohio are Athens and NY. IMO, adding another division every 6-10 years watered it down. I'm glad basketball and baseball divisions aren't broken down that far even with more overall teams. Seven divisions is crazy. What's it gonna be next, 2 divisions added for 8 man ?Raider6309 wrote: Sun Sep 01, 2019 12:02 pm Yes its awful. Competitive balance really watered down D5
