Portsmouth West vs Chesapeake Scrimmage

Post by SiderBlood »

First half over with the Siders up 21-0. Two missed opportunities inside the redzone keeping it from 35-0. Running with ease straight up the gut and very stengy defense. Looked pretty impressive besides some untimely penalties and an odd play call on a 4th and short in my opinion.

You’re right West could’ve ran Potter and Sissel every play and Chesapeake would never stop them, but that isn’t what scrimmages are for. Line looked really good. Speed and playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Loosing the week of practice and a good scrimmage will set them back a little, but this team is gonna be hard to handle when they are clicking on all cylinders
