What is it like to have your home games at Welcome Stadium now that they are upgrading it so much that it looks new?
it’s going to be nice to play in a newly updated Welcome Stadium, I really like how they put a lot of effort into making sure we have a nice field to play games on

Thurgood Marshall Cougars ended the 2022 season winless. What will it take for you guys to right the ship in 2023?
It will take discipline, focus, and dedication. Last year we didn’t show a lot of these things and the season ended why it did, but this year we know exactly what needs to be done, we just have to execute

As a fan and a member of PA Football News, I cover a lot of city league games, and for the most part, those teams have low numbers. As a player, what do you try to do to get more of your fellow students to go out for football?
I try to express that football could be somewhere where you can just have fun, learn some life lessons, meet some long life friends, or even maybe find a passion for football

Of the positions you play, which one do you think you are best at, along with the one you have to improve on the most?
I think my best position is slot because when I can get the ball into open space, I can be dangerous. The position I can most improve is Db/ Safety

Who is the best player you have ever faced, along with the team he played for and the things that made him so good?
The best player I have played against was CJ Hicks(Ohio State), he just had everything you needed to be a top linebacker/ATH

If you could schedule one new opponent for Thurgood Marshall to play, who would it be and why?
Chaminade Julienne because I love would to play my former school.

What are you looking forward to most this season?
I’m looking forward to putting Thurgood Football back on the map.

With this being your final high school season, are you approaching things any differently?
I’m approaching things differently by focusing on the small details that could help me have the best season and I’m having more confidence than ever.

Do you feel you and your teammates are role models to the younger kids who come and watch you play?
Yes, I do because If we prove a lot of people wrong, they could learn from that and just know if just put your head down and work things will fall into place.

Where should the state finals be held?
Ohio State because that’s one of the biggest stages to play on in Ohio!

What is the toughest part of practice?
Toughest part of practice is conditioning.

What advice would you give to that first-year starter right before he takes the field?
Don’t be scared and just to play confident.

What is your favorite class or subject?
Math

What is one food that you enjoy that most others do not?
Root Beer Candy

Do you play any other sports for T-Marshall?
I play basketball and I also run track.
