At 6-0, 220, with a 415 bench and a 625 squat, you have crazy power. Playing fullback and linebacker, can you tell us how much all of the strength helps you at each position?

The strength helps with a lot. Getting off blocks, making blocks, and running the ball. At Wapak we preach explosive strength so it helps with everything with tackling and wrapping up.

What must you improve on the most to open the eyes of more college coaches?

Becoming a better offensive player. My mind is mainly focused on linebacker in football. I need to focus more on playing the fullback position just as much.

What are the goals you have set for the team this season?

Our goal every year is to win the WBL and then win the state championship!

Which game are you looking forward to the most, along with the reason why?

Marion Local week 1. They’ve beat us the past two years and we’ve worked every day since January to beat Marion Local.

Where should the state finals be held?

Either at The Ohio Stadium or the Hall of Fame Stadium.

Of the road games you have played, which stadium had the best atmosphere?

Every team in the WBL has a good game atmosphere, but nothing compares to a game at Wapakoneta.

Who has been the best player you have ever gone against, along with the team he played for?

In my opinion the Otte brothers from Marion Local. They’re great athletes that I respect and I’m excited to play one of them this year.

If the game is on the line, which side do you want to be on? Explain.
I’ll be on either side of the ball. I love having my back against the end zone at linebacker and I also love running the ball on the goal line.

If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be?

Allow more practice time or let us have spring practice.

What has been your most embarrassing moment while playing sports?

Getting hit with a bat playing catcher in 4th grade.

Where is the best local spot to grab a bite?

La Grande, J. Marie’s or The Side Rail

What is the worst genre of music?

Not for sure maybe Jazz haha!

Which pro or college team do you like seeing lose the most?

Pittsburgh Steelers
