If the SVC expansion rumors are true, this would be their chance to leave the FAC. Both schools would fit great in an expanded SVC with Waverly, Unioto, Circleville, Logan Elm and etc. But if Greenfield and WCH leave the FAC the league is doomed, and the conference will fold very quickly.SportsDad711 wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 9:51 am Honestly, I think being in a different league would help. The FAC is too diverse in size and opposed to the old SCOL. If I were WCH and Greenfield I would want out ASAP

Were about a month and some change away from practice starting. How do the blue lions numbers look in the weight room now? Any changes? Seems like we have a pretty favorable schedule this year, I don't think 5-6 wins is off the table.

I can see 5 wins to get back to .500 column before a playoff game.Fayette_Panther1963 wrote: Fri Apr 04, 2025 8:10 am Were about a month and some change away from practice starting. Finneytown, Shroder, McClain should all be easy wins. Hillsboro, Chillicothe and Circleville will be toss ups. Mechanicsburg is hard one to evaluate, but I will give it to Mechanicsburg in a close game. Granville, Miami Trace and Jackson will all be losses.First and Goal wrote: Mon Apr 07, 2025 10:26 amI can see 5 wins to get back to .500 column before a playoff game.Fayette_Panther1963 wrote: Fri Apr 04, 2025 8:10 am Were about a month and some change away from practice starting. I have them beating Mechanicsburg. Won't be a good look for WCH losing to a D6 team that struggled against a D4 school Mechanicsburg played last year and lost to. I have Mechanic, Finney, Shroder, McClain and Hillsboro. Chilli and Circleville I agree are toss ups. They both have proven HC now in charge of those programs.fball43 wrote: Mon Apr 07, 2025 1:08 pmFinneytown, Shroder, McClain should all be easy wins. Mechanicsburg will be interesting for sure. Circleville proven HC yes, I believe they will only get better. Chillicothe proven HC? He went 0-10 last year and didn't score in 8 of the 10 games! A total of 22 points all season. Not sure I would categorize that as "proven HC"First and Goal wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 11:51 amI have them beating Mechanicsburg. I guess I should have clarified, Not last year, which you are correct he went 0-10. His three seasons at Vinton County were 6-4, 5-6, and 9-2. Young guy, with only 4 years of HC experience. I guess my concern would be three schools in 5 years.Fayette_Panther1963 wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 12:04 pmMechanicsburg will be interesting for sure. Re: Washington court house football
Looking at WCH boys enrollment being 211 they are extremely close to the D5 mark (same with Greenfield at 209)…. Anyone think during next years divisional realignment both WCH and Greenfield could be potential D5 schools?
Re: Washington court house football
Burg will be very good this year if they stay healthy, they bring in probably the best group of freshman (talent wise) that they’ve had in 5-6 years and return 3 offensive linemen and the leading receiver in the conference along with their QB. Burg struggled last year with a lot of freshman and sophomore’s making the jump to varsity because of injuries. That D4 school that Burg lost to was 0-6 against Burg prior to that win. Personally I think it will be a good game just purely based on it being literally week 1 with both teams trying to find a rhythm/flow on both sides of the ball and WCH is probably bigger in terms of just size.
