I'd never bet against Newark Catholic in the playoffs. I think they beat Paint Valley and may even beat the winner of Fort Frye and Fredericktown.

Newark Cath literally has no offense tonight in win all 3 touchdowns came after Watkins turnovers. NC QB only a 40 % passer. This one will be real low scoring. Paint Valley was a loser tonight bc now they play NC instead of River. This game will be close.

NC takes advantage of your mistakes. If you don't make any, you will beat them...one mistake though, can change everything against them. Some teams look at being able to recover from one bad play or tyrnover. That's how NC beats you. They take that one mistake and take all the momentum from you.

I hate this match up almost as much as I hate my late sons birth giver.

I call head coach Pete Hollon (Paint Valley) a friend and I have a love for Newark Catholic football that has ran deep since 1982.

I have been wrong more times than not this season, especially when it comes to Newark Catholic. I predicted 3-7 before the start of the season and then changed that, when I picked them to defeat Heath(Posted that on the huddle) to make it a 4-6 season.

In this one I think it comes down to Newark Catholic being able to stop all three of the Bearcats dangerous weapons.
Newark Catholic's defense has been the savior of their team this season, as the offense has again found the road a bumpy one at best.

I won't predict a winner in this one.

I will be there and if mother nature allows I will have pics and a game report to post on this one.
