2 days till kickoff and it looks like it will be a hot one Friday. Conditioning could be the real separation in this game. The team who put in the most work in the offseason and stays hydrated this week will have a big edge on the other!

I do realize, this Piketon team may not be a good measurement of how the Falcons will do, but it's always good to dominate.

This group of Falcon Seniors and Jr's went undefeated throughout Jr. High, and they have stuck together for the most part. Reports are the Falcons have 67 kids out and the times they've had over 60 kids, not only have they made runs but won an SOCII title.

My prediction:
Minford 31
Rock Hill 14
The Jr's didn't go undefeated in 8th grade they lost to West at Minford.

In years past, the Falcons defense was fine, but their offense was very predictable and lacked imagination. Wonder if this new coach will have the offense going??

I just went 85 yards straight thru the heart of the south- Ezekiel Elliott 1/1/15

The key is do we have the QB play to get the ball out into the space the offense designs? One that can stay poised, and set his feet when he has time to do so to throw the football accurately. I have seen to many unnecessary throws while on the run in the past. That in mind, these are all just kids and I do not mean to be critical, I just would love to see great QB play in Minford if we are going to run this offense. I would like to see the Falcons challenge RH on the edge as well.

I look for Minford to rep the SOCII well tonight. Hold it down Mule Town.

Falcons have to get better upfront, bottom line. I liked what I saw the last 2 drives, I look for the Falcons to stick to that style moving forward. If Minford can limit turnovers, especially on Special Teams they could be alright, better fix it quick though, because after next week the competition takes a big leap. Rock Hill is a fine club, I could see them competing for OVC title.

The McCormick kid threw the ball pretty well. I hope they continue with that! And yes, the line on both sides of the ball got whipped!!! Rock Hill just ran it down their throats!!

Hill looked good tonight, but don't know how they will do when they play a team that can play the run. Qb had a nice short TD pass, not sure about throwing down field. Didn't look like he had much of a arm when INT was thrown.

Rock Hill spent more time in the weightroom in the offseason and it showed. Minford is a better ball team than they showed tonight, but when you scrimmage sub par teams you never learn your weaknesses until you get a team that punches back. I look for the Falcons to correct what needs to be corrected and get ready to pour it on Oak Hill.

Can't tell much from this W. I think Minford was really weak up front. I had heard that Minford was struggling right now.

Still scratching my head over this one. Minford obviously gave RH easy points on a platter with the turnovers and snaps over the punters head.

O and D lines for Minford got whipped. LBs not aggressive at all. RHs running back is a big boy to let have a 7-8 yard run at you at LB.

Minford seemed to have good drives with the 5-10 yard passing game and it opened up the run. I didn't understand getting the ball back with 2 minutes till half, down 14, and 3 straight runs up the middle. Just to have another long snap go over the punters head again and give RH another easy 6 before the half. I believe Minford took 3 timeouts into the locker room at the half.

I think everyone knew there would be adjustments with new coaches but Minford just looked out of sorts in every aspect last night. I'm sure they will improve.

BR: I agree the special team play really hurt Minford last night. Minford muffs/fumbles the opening kickoff inside their own 20, only to give up an easy TD. Then before half, they snap the ball over the Punters head only to give up another TD. Everyone knows, you can't give up 14 points off turnovers with the other team getting the ball inside your 20 and expect to win a ball game. Correctable but shouldn't have ever happened in the first place.

By no means, i believe Minford should have won this game. With that said, this game was better than the score shows., If you take back the fumbling of the opening kick off, giving RH the ball on our 17, led to 6pts.......snap over the punters head giving RH the ball on our 14, ...6pts and here`s an oldy but goody, snap over punters head RH recovers on our 23. RH 6pts.

I hoping some good old grass rolls are in the future this week for them, and a better next week !!

Agree with you on the on the point of the conservative play-calling after the interception, really thought they should've taken at least one shot, and I think they had some if not all of their timeouts left - for sure Minford didn't take advantage of trying to get the momentum to swing back in their favor, especially with Rock Hill getting the ball first in the second half.
