After his first year as a gray shirt he will be able to compete for the starting job...am I correct on that?

He is now on scholarship. He will not be grayshirted.
I aasume he will now recieve a redshirt.
He will however, now enroll in the fall on scholarship.

Did NMSU lose one of their other incoming recruits? I'm just curious as to how a scholarship suddenly became available. One might think that greyshirting might actually be more beneficial because it gives a kid more time to develop but I'm sure Trevor is ready to get his college career underway. Congrats and good luck!
