This isn't a political forum, so no politics.
I will hitch hike or ride my bike to football games.

Re: Due to high fuel prices football season cancelled
I have saved my change and my ones since the last game of last season and so far I am close to 800 bucks for this football season.I will contiune to save until the first game in August.

Re: Due to high fuel prices football season cancelled
I could see closer leagues with 7-6 schools IN THOSE LEAGUES around the same size, built around a 2-4 county area. Especially if cost of fuel prices continue to climb.
Some would just reduce their league size.

I agree there are several ways to help ease the pain but with the price of fuel climbing more and more it is going to be hard on a lot of schools and the fans.

Four day School would make the most sense! Extend the day like 8-4 and get more done in 4 days. That is cutting your bus budget by 1/5 right there. Of course take Monday off and Friday nights are not affected.
