I'm pretty sure you'll remember. Might even see if Biggdowgg could put his grill to work before the game.

depending on when he hurt the ankle will decide on how long he is out for. Hopefully he doesn't have to miss any time but if he does it is only a week or two.

I have heard that he is doing much more for the kids than a former head coach that will be on the sidelines tomorrow night. After tomorrow night maybe all the bashers of our new coach will realize what they had and hopefully they will appreciate the man who worked so hard for their district. Not many programs can go undefeated and let their coach walk away without a much better offer on the table, yet it happened. The Northwest Program appreciates your mistakes, win or lose tomorrow night our kids are better players and have an excellent role model because of your move, we thank you :-D . Also unlike many believe coach Davis has remained positive about both teams and has not made ANY negative statements about the boys that he left, and there are no hard feelings about the East kids, or at least that is the word around our area. I hope you don't want him back after tomorrow because our boys really appreciate what he is doing. Good luck to the East community on the upcoming season, EXCEPT for tomorrow

Mohawk Pride, I have been reading some of your posts and I have to laugh when I read some of your thoughts especially about Coach Hall. You must really have something personally against Coach Hall. He has been successful every where he has been. Yes he didn't win as many games at NW but who ever has. Coach Davis is a good coach, no question, but there is no way he does anymore for kids than what Coach Hall does. Just ask any of the kids at East right now. Coach Davis departure from his last job had nothing to do with his ability to coach. I'm glad you guys are happy with him, that doesn't mean you have to run coach Hall down. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow night, I bet no one from Sciotoville will want to trade anyway!

Coach Davis may have not commented negatively about East but my question to all;Why did he retreat to stands after game instead of doing the handshake after game?Is this not an insult to these boys from East he loved so much? What a shining example to both teams. He has coached most of them and should have been proud of their excellent game, instead turned his back and walked away!!!!

He is a proud man and hates to lose, maybe he didnt want to show any emotion or maybe he just didnt want to, he probably should have but that would be hard.

Surely, he would have wanted to shake the hand of a man who he grew up with and had coached with him for many years at East! I mean... it stands to reason that if people think it is wrong of Sciotoville people to be upset or mad about him leaving and going to Northwest to coach. Then Coach Davis should not have any ill feelings about a life-long friend still remaining loyal to his school and coaching at East! Surely, he wouldn't be mad about that and refuse to walk across the field and shake his hand and the hand of another coach who was his offensive coordinator last year! Would he?

I bet he shook the hands of the other 100+ losses he had as a coach! But, to be quite honest with you... It was exactly what we all expected to happen! The offense was typical "double-wing"; not knocking it! I happen to love it! But, you have to do more than just run the ball and take a lineman and put them in the back field every year! I was surprised they threw the ball 9 times in the game! And, when they was running the Red Red Pass or the Blue Blue Pass; they had moved the ball very well for the three plays they passed it in that series! But, as typical went back to the run and never came back to it successfully again!

As far as being a proud man! I can understand that to a degree! But not to the point where you look like some kind of sore loser!

Nevertheless... the better man won, better team won 47 - 0! Might need to consider something other than man-to-man all the time!

And, this proves once again that the "double-wing" can be brought to a screaching halt; if all you do is run the ball!

Shame on Davis. What if a player turned and walked away? Would the player be punished ?
