what i dont get is why tony when he played at noseguard didnt rush patrick every play is he just that lazy or taught to do that. russell pretty much handled whoever they put in at noseguard last night although he had a few bad snaps he didnt give up any ground on the line congrats to logan good job tigers lets go to week 6
For some reason...Lutz decided that he was only going to rush the ends on defense...he wanted to give the umbrella effect to where the ends would move the qb to the center and when or if he started to scramble...the line would be waiting there for him...what he didn't account for was that unlike wheelersburg...logan's recievers were smart enough to take advantage of the 15 yard cushion that our wonderful pass d was giving them...
Ironton has two players that are some of the fastest kids in the state in brice and morris...but for some reason as in the case last night...he is afraid to man up on pass coverage...I feel that when a team is taking advantage of the short stuff...as logan did...you have to come out of the zone....
Also...when the ends weren't getting pressure as they needed...lutz needed to let at least one of the linemen blitz...all night long they did nothing...but it wasn't their fault...that was the game plan...and he didn't change it...I'm not going to question lutz....for he has alot more experience than I do...but I can't understand...seemed to me like OSU against florida a couple of years ago...no pressure...leads to points...
Hammer...
By the Way...What happened to Russell....wow....
Now 2 old will be on us next year saying we play easy teams when we play russell.
