year in and year out it wouldnt benefit Minford to play East as there are not enough points available and it is all about computer points anymore. East has been good the past 2 years and would have provided some points but as a general rule schools do not want to play down a division from where they are because of the points unless they have to because of being in the same conference.

they would benefit ALOT more from playing East than they would from River Valley

You have to remember, these teams that you are mentioning you will have to beat. Say you play 3 of those teams. You are gonna have to win 2 out of the three to make the playoffs probably. With the teams mentioned above, take three of them and I would say East would win one maybe. I commend the East fans on wanting a tougher schedule though. It does give that advantage in the playoffs. I would say though pick up some games down here and start some rivalries. And Fisher Catholic and Newark Catholic are long drives and East might get them 3 times out of 10 years.
