These "new explosive backs" played in week 1 and Minford had over 300 yards rushing. I am pretty sure they had over 300 in week 3, and against Wellston (who has a better team than their record) they had around 230-240. They must be moving someone out of the way. Sure they did not have a great game against Coal Grove, but Coal Grove has a nice team and a good, fast defense. This same o-line dominated both their scrimmages, but I am sure they appreciate the bulletin board material. Nothing motivates a player more than having their manhood challenged. I think you will have a different impression after Friday.

I really do not understand all the Minford haters. Maybe you have a reason, I don't know. First it was the eligibility issue and nearly EVERYONE piled on, yet it was resolved and the players are back. Now it is the o-line. I suppose once they shut up the naysayers you all will move onto something else. Maybe the defense, but they have only given up 19 points in 4 games, with 2 shutouts so that probably won't work....let's see..I guess you can start on the coaches, the band, ummm....switching from Pepsi to Coca-Cola, the popcorn.....Geez, give it a break. I guess one thing is clear, people only launch these attacks when you have their attention and Minford aparently has had that almost the entire off season and certainly all summer. I guess there is truth in what they say about people hating winners and those with success.

Minford players.....continue doing what you are doing and show these clowns you are for real. Stay focused, intense, and continue to expect to win. Don't let up and come out the first play and smack them right in the mouth and take control of the game. Go Minford.

I am hoping for a tight one. Have not seen Minford play this year but the way you guys are talking about them they sound exciting.

Oak Hill has a lot of talent, but I think the coaches would agree that they have been up and down. I look for the Oaks to put their first complete game together this week. Passing and Running games both going big.

Big games from JD Hale and Westen Hale. I think Westen may have gotten the scouting report from one of the coaches down there. :122249

Minford is the better team and they are playing at home---they should win. I do, however, look for the game to be much closer than many Minford posters on here are predicting. Minford posters remind me of Barack Obama---they consistently complain about people talking bad about their school but yet they trash the other school as bad if not worse. Always the victim. Good luck to both schools---I hope for an exciting and injury-free game. By the way, I think it is interesting that this is Oak Hill's fifth game and their first on natural grass.

I am not talking bad about Minford--I love Minford. I went to Minford for years. What I do not like is hypocrisy. Minford's posters who are talking trash are not just doing so about the comments about individual players. By the way, I did not realize we were such good friends that you would call me Deano. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Unless, of course, it was a weak and childish attempt to trash talk about me as well.

OMG,

I just have a few things to say.....

Can you see NOW.... why I haven't posted very often......
I went thru all of this when Jared was playing at Jackson and it almost cost me my sanity.
And all of the junk that my kid had to read about himself-- had to hurt, yet he continued to tell me
"Post about us, mom, and don't worry what anyone else has to say."

You ALL need to grow up and just CHEER for YOUR team, post YOUR team stats. post YOUR teams strengths and leave all of the crap in the can!!!!

THIS IS WHERE MY HANDLE CAME FROM..............AND I WILL CONTINUE TO BE SOLELY......
