Seen the Freddies on film and very similar to MC, on how they play but MC's QB is just better. They remind me more of Minford, very good tailback and good qb. I dont believe Freddies QB will do the damage that MC's did, so Burg wins this one, 35-14. Even if Schank does not play.

Its about time they finally get out of Columbus a little more often. Have to go where the majority of their viewers are, but still....there are other big battles throughout their viewing area not just in Columbus proper.

Good luck to both teams!

Can someone from Nelsonville answer this:

Is Boston Field on 12th St. in Buchtel or on Buckeye Dr. in Nelsonville? On the OHSAA website when you click on the directions to the stadium it gives you a Buckeye Dr. address which shows up on mapquest being in downtown Nelsonville. However, when you click on the mapquest link it takes you to a 12th St. address in Buchtel. Can someone clarify?

On the Nelsonville-York city schools website it list the address of the high school as Buckeye Drive and the field is the same place!

fbbacker - To alleviate any confusion, you turn off of St. Rt. 78 onto 12th street, which is in Buchtel. You make a left off of 12th street into the school parking lot (which I guess would be classified "Buckeye Drive"). The field is behind the school, you can't miss it. The school complex was annexed into the city of Nelsonville, but is certainly not in downtown Nelsonville.

12th street address on your GPS will take you to the school. Buckeye Dr is the address that the school uses fro mail purpose only. Drive safe and can't wait for the game.

This just in: 2 VERY reliable sources confirm. Shank and Kemper ARE playing! Maybe some minor pain, but will play the whole game no restrictions!

Great News for Burg and Bad news for the Freddies!

Go Burg!!

In my head, I have been calling them "The Three Horses" most of the season. I have never put it in print though as I did not know if they would like such a nickname. "The Three Horsemen" has an apocalyptic feel that could work too but in that case the offensive linemen would be the 'horses'. Tyler Lang and Tyler Craigmiles are sometimes referred to as 'T aNd T' by the coaches which is pretty appropriate. I like the reference to the explosive nature of TriNitroToluene.

I just realized that tomorrow is Friday the 13th. Hopefully that just means bad luck for the Feddies.

Gates open at 6. So You still could. We got there real early last week and was able to save our seats, but I doubt that will happen this week. But we should be about the first in line. Though even after the gates opened, seats didn't really fill up till about 6:30 or 6:45. There were still decent seats available. I'm sure you'l be fine.

At least we'll have some Nelsonville Yorkers on the Home side cheering on the Burg also! get the cheers coming from both sides!!

GO Burg!
Keep the season rolling!
