How does a school like Logan not win an Seoal championship every year .. You're the biggest school , great facilities , community support ... And everyone is just so proud of an Seoal championship in the community of Logan .. You should be league champions every year .. And you're having trouble doing that :) .. Has Logan ever accomplished anything other than a league title ? Have you ever took the region ? Minus that team in the early 2000s you guys love to talk about have you even made it to a regional final ?
Or is Logan just content with the Seoal title ?

Logan has all the tools to be the best program in SEO and have playoff runs..

I see you are knew on here and haven't read too much of what has been posted on here. You should give other teams credit. The SEOAL has had some talented teams plus most say never give up.

Cambridge and DeSales are excellent games for the Chiefs. The Bobcats run a solid program and DeSales is a state power most years. One thing I don't understand is 7:00 games. Many attendees are family and parents often work till 5 , then must travel ( often and hour or two) plus eating out. I'm a grandparent ( with 6 grandsons ) and we travel. Many schools kill their gates with early games. That I don't get.

As someone who travels from Columbus I feel your pain.

However, I can also speak to the fact that games are lasting longer than ever because of the evolution of the passing game and higher scores. Its causing the games keeping kids out on busses later, often with JV games on Saturday morning.

It also makes it a lot easier on media to get stories in Saturday papers, although I doubt that's a priority for school administrators, LOL.

2015 only has a week 6 opening, but 2016 has two openings as Meigs is only scheduled for a two year contract. Fortunately that is week 3 so a much easier date to fill.

I would guess Chillicothe, Marietta, and Zanesville would be strong possibilities for week 3 in 2016 depending on what their availability is.

Week 6 will be a lot harder to fill in both '15 and '16. Most leagues are in league play by then. Ironically, I know that Ironton is open in week 6 of 2014, so maybe they'll have an opening.

I would think the Central Catholic League would be another place to look, so Watterson, St. Charles, Hartley, and Ready could be compatible.

I would love to see the Chieftains play Hartley or Watterson. Both are GREAT programs, that consistently make deep runs into the playoffs. Logan would get that "Big Boy" experience that could pay dividends if the Chiefs make it into the playoffs.
