Point Pleasant (WV) to the TVC or OVC? SEOAL?

Well yeah, our schedule can't compete with Desales or Akron SVSM in all sports but Athens isn't a big city catholic school. But our all sports schedule is on a different level than Jackson. SEO doesn't prepare you for deep post season play

Jackson is the cream of the crop in football in southern Ohio , only team more consistently successful is The Burg

From peewee football , junior high, freshmen, junior varsity , and varsity Jackson is as consistently good as you'll find in southern Ohio.

So being jealous of Athens is a little stretch

Now being envious of their league setup , that's probably true

before Athens left the SEOAL (and wasn't winning many games) NY was beating them. Athens looks like they will only be at the top in a couple sports for a while ..that plays only TVC schools. I only see Boys and Girls track for the next couple years before other start to push the Bulldogs.

Actually this is a down year for Athens. Athens has pretty good 8th through sophomore grades. Next year Athens football and basketball will be very good. Athens problem was coaching before. It was the buddy system who they hired. They only coached to pad their retirement. Athens will always have athletes since it's a middle class city school. The key is getting them to play.

But every school goes through phases since it's all about coaching in high school sports,

I don't see the demand for them coming into the league.

I don't think Point Pleasant has any interest in rejoining the SEOAL. They could have just as easily applied to join the SEOAL as they did the TVC and OVC, but they chose not to.
