I am totally impressed with the play of Kasey Kruse. He reminds me of a couple qb's from a few years back, he is learning if there is no pass to make.. take off running...that is the kind of quarterback Trimble does well with..Kudos to the Cats.

Congratulations Tomcats......................... You were my preseason favorite to win the Hocking, and you have done nothing to force me to rethink that thought.
Again congrats and good luck the rest of the way

The cats did pull through with a total team effort. Kacey Cruse played a good game at QB with 190 yards passing going 10-13 with 1 TD and 1 int and 2 Rushing TD's. Tyler Dyla had 148 yards rushing with 2 rushing TD's. Joe Eing had 3 catches for 77 yards and 1 pass completion to Adam Mulford for 52 yards. Adam Mulford had 7 catches for 148 yards with 1 Td. He also had a 65 yard TD catch called back on a holding penalty. Brandon Keith ran well with 5 carries for 20 yards and 1 Td rushing and a 17 yard catch. The line did a good job with run blocking and picking up the 8 man blitz.
The defense played well enough to get a win and caused 7 turnovers. Kyle Dior had 20 tackles, Nick Eing 14, Charles Kish 14, Johnie Stobart 9, Brandon Carter 9, Kieffer Standley played well at end, Joe Eing and the rest of the Tomcat defense played well also. If the cats keep playing like this they should be able to win the hocking and make a playoff berth.
Go Cats keep working hard and lets start 1-0 in league play.

Congrats to the Tomcats on a big win!
I followed a car full of Fort Loramie fans from Columbus down to Logan. They sure had a LONG trip back!
Good luck to the Cats in the Hocking!
