HAS ANYBODY CHECKED ABOUT THE ADDED COST OF A HOME PLAYOFF TICKET.
Re: Ironton Fighting Tiger Football 2009
Did you see the other kid running with him? They had just lifted weights in seventh period and were running before weight lifting started again after school. There are a group of dedicated kids and I know they will play hard next year.callmespidy wrote:I seen Wetzel running after school. The kid has alot of heart and is and outstanding athlete. Get more guys out there running. Cant wait until 09.

I look forward to season 2009. Maybe I should get the saw out and start on some f-ball players out of plywood for next years "Senior Night".
I wish I had had the time this year.

You gals do a great job with those wooden players.
I still have the one of my sons with the added Halo.
They will last a long time if taken care of.

Yeah, I painted that one ITown Hosscat with the help of a son of mine. I thought about your son while I was painting it. Rachel knew him. Hmmm. I made your lovely wife a necklace too. Keep some sealer on it to keep the rain out.

You and your father always did a great job with those football players. I think it's a nice tribute on senior night.

Those big guys always look cool. You know its geting football season when you start seeing them out.
Talking about ways to make money during the season. They should turn that big grassy area into a tailgate area and set up a grill and sell grilled dogs and burgers and stuff before the game. Get the Tiger and cheerleaders walking around. Make it like a college big game atmosphere. That would be sweet plus maybe get some of the civic organizations and churches to help out. Split the profit with them that way your insure you got volunteers

I think they sent Merrill Triplett go to soon. He didn't even have a chance. He tore it up at West this year. Think about what could have been at Ironton?

Just giving a shout out to good ole Merrill. It is tough to predict the following season after bolting from a conference. I guess you don't have to worry about Logan anymore though. It must be frustrating to plan on dominating a conference and then not even winning it.

Anyway it would be a great way to go out by winning the league on the way to a deep playoff run. The boys just gotta get their minds right and be ready to work in the off season.

Burg will be a test to start the season. Do the Tigers play another pathetic Canadian team this year? Are their goalposts in the front of the endzone their?

I just know the last couple of years Canadian teams had been scheduled and were supposed to be good opponents for the Tigers, until they discovered why Canadians play hockey, lol! Seriously, are their goalposts in the front ogf the endzone? I think that is cool.
