well dowggie, i said it actually forgot about you guys being in the seoal, no taking it back now.but i think it will be a far better, n closer game than anybody thinks, i knew that last week as well, but everybody thought we'd kill simon kenton, but knew who they'd played.these games are always worth the coins to go.

you can pass all you want, it will not matter, Ironton is in post season no matter how this game plays out, Lutz will rest most of his starters and is still confident the back ups can still get the win.

True it isn't 100% guaranteed....

but it is 99% guaranteed!

Of course I'd like to see Ironton win this game and remove all doubt.

If Portsmouth limits there mistakes it will be close. Spread the field and they might just beat Ironton!

If Portsmouth relies on one receiver Ironton will eat Portsmouth up fast. Took Logan too long to do that and they had to play catch up.
Ironton scout caught that real quick last Friday night and better hope the coaches at Portsmouth realize that.

We'll have to make sure we cover Wayne Evans tight in this one. If we can keep him from making big plays I think we'll be fine. We have a DB that can do that in Patrick Lewis with his speed, who came up big in the Simon Kenton game who Irontons Coach Lutz said was probably the best QB we've seen this year, and we've faced some good ones.

From the Ironton Tribune after the Simon Kenton game.

“He’s a good quarterback with a good arm and he’s and a pretty good athlete. He’s probably the best quarterback we’ve seen. We got some pressure on him in the second half and that made the difference,” said Lutz.

Evans is not the one that hurt Logan last week.

best Q.B. he has seen?, maybe he should have got some pressure on Hunter at Pail Blazer , that kid picked Ironton apart

Enlighten us Papa. Who is "your team"?

All the regulars on here pretty much know who each other's team is or where they are from, therefore, we know how to take their posts.

Tiger Bait and Gray Tiger are obviously Ironton fans.

Big Dowg is for Portsmouth

Noreply is from Logan, moonshine is from Logan and HATES Ironton

I'm for Chillicothe and Ironton both (and I think everyone knows it)

Ironmannut is for Jackson........

Get the drift???

My guess is 1) You are NOT from Ironton or a fan of Ironton and 2) You hate Ironton and by posting what you did in your first post, it was an intentional attempt to discredit Ironton and their fans.

now........ PROVE ME WRONG

well, you are Correct to,I dont think I ever said in my first post that I was from Ironton so why does everone keep pointing out that I am not, its not a secret that requires inspector gadget, now, you enlighten me please......Like I said, I seen where Warren and Jackson put up over 50 and 60 on Portsmout,so is it a far strecth to say Ironton can put 60 on the score board on them?..sorry if I offended you or YOURTIGERBAIT, BUT,I STAND BY MY STATEMENT

okay cool, no offense taken.

However, don't you agree with us that when a brand new poster gets on a thread and predicts a blowout, it looks like someone is trying to stir the pot?

I think Portsmouth will play Ironton tougher than they have played anyone all year. And Ironton has a tendency to let teams get to them in big games where on paper Ironton SHOULD beat them.

And isn't the overall series between these 2 school tied? If I'm not mistake, won't an ironton win give them the series lead for the first time in like 50 or 60 years??
