Valley by two or three scores. Good luck to the Indians, the coaching staff and Coach Crabtree
Re: Lucasville Valley @ Huntington Ross
The Indians are a very fast team. The line seems to struggle with straight ahead blocking, but they are quick for an o-line. The Indians were sloppy early but they were just much much better that HHS. Yates looked outstanding at QB... He brings much more to the table, especially with his legs. The Indians should cruise again next week against Rock Hill, before a tough tough game against CG.

Brings more to the table than who/what? Utley was probably the leading rusher for the team and threw two TD passes. Yates was QB for 4 plays??? Why would you replace a QB who has 15-20 varsity starts under his belt??

Jesco it was a 42-0 final.
As for the game, I was really impressed in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. We looked half asleep on offense during the 1st quarter. Valley has a lot of weapons with the skill players. Tons of speed.

Yates gives more of a threat in the running game. I think Utley throws a better ball when he doesn't have pressure, but Yates makes much more happen and he's a better overall athlete. I know that Utley has more experience, but that doesn't mean he's better. Yates needs about 3 or 4 series a game to give defenses something else to think about, because he's dangerous outside the pocket. I'm not against Utley at the QB spot, but Yates has looked good in limited action in the scrimmages and in last nights game.
