The disparity in the tvc, Ohio or hocking, is nothing compared to most leagues. Check out the difference between tri valley or john glen to crooksville & west muskingum in the MVL.

Belpre 98
Fed Hock 96
Trimble 87
Southern 85
Miller 78
Eastern 74
South Gallia 72
Waterford 70

There is a huge difference between now and 2014-15:

Belpre 128
Fed Hock 127
Trimble 110
Waterford 98
Miller 89
Southern 86
Eastern 79
South Gallia 70

I don't know if there was that big of an enrollment drop or if it has something to do with how the OHSAA counts now. Either way, it's a huge difference. According to the current numbers, Trimble has nearly 20% more boys to play football than the bottom 4 teams. That's not the only deciding factor in who is good of course. Having the same head coach for 25+ years sure doesn't hurt the program. I couldn't find numbers for Wahama.
As I was saying..... lol all the Hocking schools are pretty close in size.

Thank you for posting the Numbers Screaming Eagle.
You will notice that the better Miller and NY are, the more talent Trimble loses. I do think that Miller kids are staying in the district now, but Trimble/NY kids will always move back and forth. I say the OHSAA needs to limit kids to moving schools one time because this is an even bigger problem elsewhere in the state

You are wrong about Trimble kids moving back in fourth route 7.Trimble has last some very good players to NY.Every year on their roster their are at least 2 and some times more, and they don't come back.We have lost skill and lineman players to NY,some of them would not play until their JR year I think that's why they go.Most of them start right off over the hill.most are skill players and we have been loaded with skill players we would accept lineman if they wanted to come here to play we always need them.

Hopefully Belpre will not be overconfident about this game. Belpre by 2+ scores.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

Belpre 28
Wahama 20
Final

Belpre needs to take every opponent seriously and guard against being overconfident.
