Minford played a decent game, there's still room for improvement, but only a mediocre showing for week 2. Offensively, this team is playing no where near their full potential. In the second quarter, a fumble on the 1-yard line going into the end zone would have made it 28-0. 35-0 at the half. Also, there was TD pass called back for holding away from the play. No fault of the coaches as, "That fumble play right before you cross the goal line, " isn't in the playbook. If these mistakes don't happen, the Falcons name their score, which I feel they were 56-0 better. It's great to get the mental mistakes out of the way at the beginning of the season, but once the SOC starts this isn't going to cut the mustard.
When this Falcon team does decide to click on all cylinders, plays turnover free and cuts out the senseless penalties, watch out. Great job defense in the shut-out!!

Re: WEEK 2: COL. GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS @ MINFORD
Great job FALCONS!!! Just clean up them penalties and we will be hard for anyone to handle. Also, great job by the offensive & defensive coordinators. I loved how we mixed up the pass with the run. We will improve with each game.
Re: WEEK 2: COL. GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS @ MINFORD
The defense played hard and laid the wood all night on Grandview Heights. Offensively I agree with Vladimir, they arent hitting their full potential. Turnovers and penalties will kill them against a very good team.
Grandview Heights was a big, quick team. They played hard all night but Minford just dominated the line of scrimmage.
