Dont know all the details on RV QB Dayton Hardway, but it does not sound good. Left the field on crutches Saturday night. An MRI has been scheduled. Hoping and praying for the best! Great kid and great player! RV needs him on the field!

GO RAIDERS!!!

First thing is that neither River Valley or South Gallia would have the new football stadiums with out Dr. Evans. She made the stadiums happen and for that I am thankful to her because I honestly did not expect to see them for a long time.

What I would like to see some year is all three football teams in the county in the playoffs.

I also hope that the injury to Hardaway is not as bad as some think and he has a successful season this year.

Very well said :)

Best wishes to both teams

It won't. The reason being is that the administration doesn't really want to create bad blood over this game. If RV won this game every year, that would be acceptable. However, if SG would dominate this series in the regular season like they have this jamboree then things would be ugly. That's why this game isn't played. This game should be a rivalry game every year. It only makes sense.
ive heard it's only one person who won't allow this game to be played. when she is out of the picture maybe it will happen??????
That's person to which you are referring has been a blessing to both of these schools sports programs. She is the reason the new facilities were built and she has also been key in getting the ball rolling on the new baseball and softball complexes at SG and RV. I know there has been a delay for an undisclosed reason on the RV baseball and softball complexes and the SG softball complex but construction of SG's new baseball field is well underway. She was also the person that approved of the jamboree contest that has generated over $70,000 during its give years. That money purchased new weight room equipment for both RV and SG and new track equipment at SG.

I am little taken a back at by your comment about "when she is out of the picture" considering he personal battle. I pray just the opposite and want to say thank you Dr. Evans for making facilities that were nothing more than a dream a reality!
i don't know about any personal battle but the comment is what it is................. she won't always be in the position she is in and maybe then these two teams can play in regular season in all sports as they should have been all along (at least over the last 8-10 yrs). if you are proud of the stadiums and gyms that you have so be it. myself i would have expected better than what you have. jmo but more a detriment than a blessing.

heard many good things about hardway. hoping for a speedy recovery and rv can pull out a few more wins this year.
i look for sg to make a run to the playoffs this year. maybe this time they wont have to travel so far for their playoff game.
good luck to both teams throughout the season.

So are you saying that our football facilities are not that nice? Dude what are you expecting? The football facilites cost over $6 million total. I am guessing you think each school should have 2,000 seat gyms? We have vey nice facilities. Are they the best? No. Are they nice? Yes

I am not familiar with your back ground in terms of who you follow.
