it will be a black rubber coated fence matching the fencing around the bleachers inside, from what I was told, and I think it will look very nice.

no standing room???

about 1,200 or more can stand on the levee.

where was all the standing room at Spartan?

besides in both end zones.

if we fill the vistors side up "1,500" every game, Im sure our A.D., will be very happy. 8)

This is going to be one of the top complexes around here, right along with, Valley, and Jacksons

Stand on the levee? Thats a little far isnt it? As far as the block wall, Portsmouth could contact Valley to see what they have invested in theirs, to get a good idea.

People will pay an extra dollar or two, just to see the new stadium.

The hype around this complex is worth a premium. Why not charge what people are willing to pay? Sounds like a smart idea to me.

The AD could even keep ‘season tickets’ the same price and raise individual tickets sold at the gate. This would result in the fans of visiting schools paying more $$ than the average Trojan fan. The Trojans can always use more $$ from people outside the city limits!! This extra $$ would go a long way in keeping the complex Top Notch.

From an analytical business standpoint, this is a very good idea.

Say what? There won't be a visiting team other than West that will come close to filling the visitors stands. There is tons of room to stand to watch a game. The jealousy never ceases to amaze me.This is the premire facility in SE Ohio Jackson is very nice but comes up short compared to this one.

The game of football was meant to be played on grass, and when it comes to grass field stadiums in SE Ohio, Minford takes that one by a mile. Portsmouth's will be overall the nicest stadium by far though.

I'll have to see it to believe it is better than Jackson's.

Jackson's and Valley is way better. Just the parking hands down is better at Valley.
Where are you going to park 3 blocks away?

It's in the CITY! Not out in a bunch of FARM land. Did you expect Portsmouth to build an underground parking garage..under the stadium??

That is the problem with today's society, people complain if they have to walk a few blocks.

Maybe the City Schools are just trying to promote a county wide exercise program. 8)

To have opinions about what is the nicest fields, some type of criteria needs to be set- Seating, history, setting, parking....

To me Jackson's is the nicest and the Tank is where I most enjoy watching a game.

How many does Jackson and Ironton seat? Its hard the judge how this will stack up right now beacause there is still so much to do looks wise. I think the murals, stone wall and levee will def. make this unique though. I also like the entrance. It doesnt look like there will be alot of standing room though but Im sure people will find places to watch the game if the stands and levee get filled. Maybe even soom rooftops.

I never said it would be nicer the Valley,or Jackson,,I love both of their places, if we get anywhere close to either of them, it will be awsome!

coop, the levee inside the new complex is much much closer then at Spartan, and all the Lizards claim that is the best seat in the house down there

I bet we lose several of the Levee Lizards from Spartan as they will have to buy a ticket now, and they can't bring in their coolers full of "Kool aid". I also hope they restrict the reserve seats better in the new complex then they did at Spartan, the last few years people sat in the reserved seats when they had not purchased a season/ reserve ticket. I don’t understand selling them if they are not going to enforce it.

visitors bleachers, not very high, but they go from 20 yard line to 20 yard line.

they got some feed back from Valley, and they said they never get close to filling their vistors side up,and suggested to go smaller, to keep the crowd closer for more of football athmosphere.

"i still think its plenty"
