Re: Division 5 Region 19 in 2010
This region is just going to be nuts. The Freddies appear to have the #1 seed locked up barring an upset. I believe Oak Hill, unless healthy, loses to New Richmond. If they do beat SV this week, I would assume that gets them in, but I don't see them hosting. Valley needs to win 2 of their last 3, and if one of those is this week, I think they end of hosting. Minford will need to beat Valley to host.

1 FREDRICKTOWN (10-0) 22.90
Probably won't be pushed the rest of the way in the regular season.
2 NELSONVILLE-YORK (8-2) 19.51
Not sure how their game against Athens will go. I have them winning out, but I think that game is too close to call. A loss could push them all the way out of the playoffs.
3 COAL GROVE (9-1) 19.10
Barring upset I think they'll host. Oak Hill can leap frog them, and the SOC II teams can leap frog them too.
4 OAK HILL (8-2) 18.55
I had been projecting them to beat New Richmond. I have no idea about New Richmond other than they are beating high division schools (which could mean nothing). Calpreps has Oak Hill winning by 1.
5 RIDGEWOOD (10-0) 17.95
Needs to root for Athens to beat NY, and no SOC II teams leap frog them, and they could host. Monroe Central could leap frog them too based on how well beaten opponents do.
6 MONROE CENTRAL (8-2) 17.90
This week against Barnesville is for a playoff spot for them. They should roll weeks 9 and 10.
7 MINFORD (8-2) 17.75
Great game vs P. West last week. I got them winning out. The SOC II teams are beating each other up. In this scenario they are real close in points with MC and Ridgewood so beaten opponent records could flip flop 5 through 7.
8 CALDWELL (9-1) 16.65
Important game this week vs. Fort Frye. Has so many playoff implications in Region 19, and will affect the final standings. Redskins win and they are in a good position, but not a lock. Wheelersburg could leap frog them. Not sure Adena can.
9 ADENA (7-3) 15.80
Kind of forgotten team so far this year mainly because they started off with 3 losses. I think they finish on a 7 game winning streak but unless they get help they fall a little short. Need to root for Fort Frye this week and Portsmouth West the rest of the way.
10 WHEELERSBURG (7-3) 15.65
I have them losing to P. West. If they win out they could finish as high as #2 seed. 2 weeks ago I thought they were fine with 7 wins. Looking dicey now.
11 CROOKSVILLE (7-3) 12.90
It will take an epic upset over Sheridan to get them in. Not going to happen.
12 LIBERTY UNION (7-3) 12.60
Much like Crooksville, they need a big upset over West Jefferson to shake things up in the final week. Don't think they will.
13 VALLEY (7-3) 11.65
Still have them finishing with 7 wins. Win 1 of 3 and they will be around 15.6 pts and around where Wheelersburg is projected right now. Might not be enough to make it. 2 of 3 and they'll be in the neighborhood of 19.5 and probably host. Win all 3 and they'll be the #1 seed. Clearly the best team to shake things up down the stretch. Because I have them losing the final 3 doesn't mean I don't like them or think they are a bad team. I just have so much respect for all the SOC II teams. Minford, Valley, and Wheelersburg are probably all playoff quality. The good thing about Valley's situation is that it will all be settled on the field. They will determine their own fate. I wish them luck.
Others to watch:
Barnesville- They have huge playoff point games the next two weeks and would need to win both. Don't think they can do it.
Cardington- Can get back in the race by beating North Union this week. I doubt they can pull it off.
Probably won't be pushed the rest of the way in the regular season.

Re: Division 5 Region 19 in 2010
That's weird, because when I click on it it shows 7 games for all teams. I had some trouble earlier in the year where it wouldn't show updated stuff, but eventually it just quit. I don't know what was causing it. Try going to Joe's site by typing it up in the address bar instead of clicking on any links, and go to region 19 that way.

2 5-2 1048 Minford Minford 11.0429

There's the updated top 10 if you still can't get it to work.
