they ran off a good coach in triplett who is undefeated at west. amazing what you can do when you have the support of administration and community.

Coach lutz didn't come back to break the record, that is the least of his concerns. He came back b.c he loves Ironton football, the kids, and loves coaching. Period. Show some respect.

A great High school football player and a great high school footb all coach. he also did alot for the OHSAA Coaches association, as their president.

Let's just say I've seen some things, as has my buddy Ricky, that would lead me to disagree with your assesment of his character. But, as that type of honesty and candor seems to be unappreciated and somewhat frowned upon around here, we will agree to disagree.

Lutz is the man. He deserves respect and admiration, as well as the hall of fame.

I think I can give a pretty good assessment of Lucas' character as I have known him for 30+ years. I have nothing but good to say about this man. He is a genuinely nice guy who loves kids.

thats great, what has he done for itown lately besides a mediocre record. its called the spread, he might want to learn how to defend it or possibly run it.

What has he done lately? HMMM lets see amassed a 62-18 record. 6 playoff berths plus wins over Desales, 2 wins over Belfry who would go on to win State in Kentucky both years. He got Ironton their 600th win in school history. Boy most schools dont have that kind of record in a ten or 20 year period or even an 80 some year period. I think thats pretty good.

Case in point look at Joe Paterno and Penn State......Lutz is a great coach though...We can't take anything from that...
