IRONTON WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS REGARDLESS (I PICKED THEM EARLIER BY 14) BUT I PERSONALLY WOULD LIKE TO SEE A WEEK 11 MATCHUP WITH AMANDA-CLEARCREEK IN THE FAIRFIELD COUNTY TOWN. I DON'T BELIEVE THEY'VE EVER PLAYED EACH OTHER AS IRONTON OVER THE YEARS WAS ALWAYS DIII AND AMANDA WAS HISTORICALLY DV IN THE PAST WHEN THEY BOTH HAD GREAT TEAMS.

I can agree with all of that,,,,but can you agree with me when I say it is very posible to happen to though?

just trying to prove, that my first post was not that far fetched of a prediction?, again, going by previous scores

Papa, anything is possible. I know some teams hung some pretty high numbers on the Trojans, so yes, I guess it is possible.

But, I think it is very unlikely. Ironton has a tendency to play to the level of their competition. And Portsmouth always seems to be up for the Ironton rivalry. Another factor, unless Portsmouth has pissed Lutz off recently, I think he has too much class to pour it on, even if he could.

On paper, I think Ironton should win by 3 TD's. But knowing the history of this rivalry, I won't be one bit surprised if Portsmouth isn't ready for some more OT football this year!

Salt and Pepper...

Get a little salt with K.B. Johnson....then you get some pepper with Danny "Boomer" Reid...

(Did you see the huge block on the LB on the long TD run by Reid?)

  [/quote]

I don't rememer much about IHS/PHS football from back in those days, because I was a girl in high school and too busy at games having a social life lol, but I do remember Danny Reid!!! I remember one game he put a hit on Steve Willis (I think?) on the track and into the wall I thought Steve was a gonner.
